Living as a Christian

Our aim for this page is to highlight some instructional verses which summarise the Christian's responsibilities in living life as a Christian.

The verses are grouped under three headings:

  1. Responsibilities directly as our response to the Gospel
  2. Responsibilities as a way of life
  3. Responsibilities within the Church Family

1. Firstly, as our response to the Gospel

Dedicating our lives to God as our response to the Gospel.

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.

Being changed into the likeness of Jesus as our response to the Gospel.

Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Trusting in God as our response to the Gospel.

Being careful not to neglect speaking to our Heavenly Father and seeking his guidance in Christian Living.

3. Lastly, in our life within the Church Family

Being active in the Church, working in the Lord's service.

Seeking faithful, spiritual ministry in the Church.
